Period Paper has acquired a large collection of original 1757 copper plate engravings of Egypt and Nubia (now northern Sudan), including maps, archeological references, and architectural details. These rare original items are from the first and only translated folio edition. Miniatures of these were also created in 1757, about one-eighth of this size, but they hold a fraction of the value of this collection. This collection is in exceptional condition with only the minor aging and light foxing which is expected considering the age of these items.
